SuperCast Migration FAQ

Why is Fantasy Fangirls moving away from Patreon?
We are switching to a more flexible and podcast-driven hosting platform to give you better integrations, member support, and content accessibility. Simply put: This incredible community has outgrown Patreon and it’s time to level up!
Improvements include:
- Quick and simple set-up to listen to all on-demand recordings and deep dive episodes (Tiers 2 & 3) directly from your preferred platform (Seriously though… this new hosting platform is designed for podcasters, so this is going to be such a great benefit!)
- Easier to join our Discord server
- Member support with a 1-business day turnaround (Patreon support is… very lacking)
- Lower hosting fees, so more of your contribution goes directly to FFG
- The name “Fantasy FanClub” :D
-
What do I need to do for the switch?
1. Migrate to Fantasy FanClub/Supercast, which includes confirming your membership tier and billing cycle
2. Cancel your Patreon membership (very important!)
3. Connect to your preferred listening platform and reconnect to Discord
Our step-by-step walkthrough is available as a video and guide. Please contact hello@fantasyfangirls.com if you run into any issues.

Why am I being charged when I migrate over?
Because the migration to Fantasy FanClub starts a new billing cycle, you will be charged for the subscription between your “new” start date (the day you migrate over) and the next billing date in Fantasy FanClub. You are not paying extra for this switch!
If you prefer not to restart your billing cycle and pay for the partial renewal upfront, please select “Continue Current Billing Period” at the bottom of the page.

What does this mean for the FFG Patreon portal?
The deadline to switch to Fantasy FanClub is February 16, 2025. Until then, we will continue sharing all announcements, content, etc. on both Patreon and Fantasy FanClub. After February 16, we will only share Fantasy FanClub event reminders to Patreon as we really encourage you all to migrate over and enjoy the full benefits.

Does Fantasy FanClub have a mobile app?
Unfortunately, no – but the web browser is very mobile-friendly, so you can still access everything from your phone, including recordings from your preferred podcast apps. There are no push notifications, so please rely on email or Discord Announcements Channel for all notifications.
